Executive Chef for Uptown Life Group

Who You Are:

You are a seasoned culinary professional with a passion for leading and inspiring kitchen teams. You excel in creating innovative dishes and managing kitchen operations with precision. Your leadership style is positive and servant-oriented, fostering a collaborative and drama-free work environment.

Responsibilities:

● Lead the kitchen team with a positive attitude and servant leadership style.

● Develop daily specials and collaborate with the owner on menu items.

● Maintain and manage food inventories, placing orders with suppliers.

● Organize training sessions for new hires and ongoing education for team members.

● Assist owners with the development and opening of new concepts and projects.

● Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen, including checking stations and storage areas.

● Create and manage the kitchen team schedule.

● Collaborate with other management members to ensure smooth operations.

● Ensure the building is locked and secured at the end of shifts.

● Assist the owner with managing food and labor costs.

● Foster a drama-free and positive work environment.

● Maintain steady communication with owners.

● Perform miscellaneous tasks and assignments as requested by the owners.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

● Proven experience in a full-service restaurant as an Executive Chef or similar role.

● Exceptional culinary skills with a focus on menu development and daily specials.

● Strong leadership and team management abilities.

● Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

● Sound and professional judgment.

● Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
